EUPHEMISM
In this activity, we researched examples of euphemism in 21st-century poems and short stories. We explored how authors use softer or indirect expressions to discuss sensitive or harsh topics. We found three different euphemisms in three literary works, analyzed their meanings, and reflected on how they affect the tone and message of the text. This activity helped us understand the power of word choice in literature and how euphemisms can influence readers' emotions and interpretations.
